Disney Director Sohrab Makker: 'No Non-White, Non-Jewish' Hires, Calls CEO 'Corrupt'

Walt Disney Television's Director of Production/Finance, Sohrab "Dave" Makker reveals Disney won't hire anyone "who's not white or not Jewish" for C-Suite roles, confirming discriminatory hiring practices detailed in OMG's 'The Disney Tapes: Part 1.'

Makker, who tracks diversity in annual reports, reveals that the reports “tell us the diverse cast of members that are in there,” and that he has witnessed “the number count go up.”

Makker says Disney prioritizes LGBTQ stories for children, stating, “We insert diversity when it's not really organic to the story,” admitting shows have “flopped” because “the audience didn't connect” to forced diversity.

He calls Disney CEO Bob Iger “corrupt,” saying, “He just wants to stay in power.” He proceeds to criticize Elon Musk, calling him a “narcissist” driven by attention, yet agrees with Musk’s call for Iger’s firing.

"Cyber Terrorist" Sentenced for Swatting: Understanding the Crime and Its Implications

In a significant legal outcome, Ashton Connor Garcia, a 21-year-old from Bremerton, has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for his involvement in a series of swatting incidents. Swatting is a dangerous and illegal activity where someone makes false emergency calls to dispatch police or emergency services to a specific location, often resulting in severe consequences for the victims. Garcia, who referred to himself as a "cyber terrorist," pleaded guilty to federal charges of extortion and threats, highlighting the serious nature of his actions.

The Crime and Its Execution

Garcia's malicious activities took place in 2022, when he used an online phone service to make fraudulent emergency calls to various agencies in the United States and Canada. These calls, which were live-streamed on the communication platform Discord, reported violent crimes that were fabricated. The primary aim of such actions was to provoke a heavy and urgent response from law enforcement, typically involving SWAT teams, hence the term "swatting."

During the incidents, Garcia taunted police and emergency dispatchers, taking perverse pleasure in the chaos and fear he caused. His calls included reports of violent crimes such as shootings and hostage situations, creating panic and potentially putting lives at risk.

What is a Cyber Swatter?

A "cyber swatter" is someone who engages in swatting using digital means. This often involves the use of technology to mask their identity and location, making it difficult for law enforcement to trace the origin of the calls. Cyber swatters exploit online phone services and other communication platforms to execute their pranks or malicious activities anonymously. They may also use live streaming or social media to broadcast their actions to an audience, seeking notoriety or infamy.

The term "cyber swatter" underscores the digital nature of the crime, differentiating it from more traditional forms of harassment or false reporting. It combines the elements of cybercrime—such as hacking and anonymity—with the physical danger posed by falsely mobilizing emergency services.

Hawk Tuah girl - Who is the new TikTok phenomenon and is her grandmother proud of her fame?

Hawk Tuah

Unless you live under a rock, you will have heard of the "Hawk Tuah" girl.

YouTubers Tim & Dee TV were doing "Vox Pops" or "Voice of the People" videos on their Youtube channel, and they come across a very attractive young girl and her friend, they ask them both some questions, and then the meme was born.

First watch the original video as it was released on Instagram.

In the above clip, she responds to a NSFW question in a beautiful Southern accent: "Oh, you gotta give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thing! You get me?".

This clip was then shared on TikTok, and was remixed hundreds of times, leading to this young lady getting internet famous over night with tens of millions of views of her saying "hawk tuah and spit on that thing".

Now as far as I can find out her name is "Hailey Welch", although that has not been 100% verified as of writing.

Hundreds of memes have come from this, some of my favourites are below. But for now we don't know 100% who she is, is she Hailey Welch as some have claimed? Time will tell, afterall she might just want to disappear into obscurity, that or she is meeting with an agent and is planning her OnlyFans career as we speak.

Wisconsin Man Becomes Instant Millionaire by Spinning Casino Wheel

In a tale that seems almost too good to be true, a man at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, became an instant millionaire on March 25, 2019. During a promotional event, the fortunate individual spun a wheel and landed on the million-dollar prize, catapulting him into financial freedom in a matter of seconds. This remarkable event is not just a story of luck but also a testament to the excitement and potential rewards that come with taking a chance in life.

The Event

The atmosphere at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino was electrifying when the winning spin occurred. Promotional events like these are designed to engage casino-goers, offering them not just entertainment but also a shot at life-changing prizes. The winner's reaction, a mix of disbelief and joy, was a highlight for everyone present, including the casino staff who shared in the excitement.

The Thrill of Taking a Chance

Stories like this highlight the positive aspects of taking chances. Life is filled with opportunities, some more visible than others. While not everyone will become a millionaire by spinning a wheel, the underlying message is about seizing opportunities when they arise. This man’s experience encourages people to step out of their comfort zones and take calculated risks. In doing so, they might find that life has more in store for them than they ever imagined.

Responsible Gambling

While the story is inspiring, it’s important to approach gambling with caution. Being a clever but respectful gambler involves understanding the risks and setting limits. Casinos are places of entertainment, and gambling should always be approached as a form of leisure rather than a surefire way to make money.

For people who like to bet from the confirm of their own home, we recommend LineBet - https://linebet-in-bd.com/linbet-mobile-app/

Here are some tips for responsible gambling:

Set a Budget: Decide how much money you can afford to lose before you start gambling, and stick to that amount. Treat it like an entertainment expense.

Know the Odds: Understand that the house always has an edge. While winning is possible, it’s essential to recognize that losing is more likely.

Stay In Control: Avoid chasing losses. If you find yourself losing more than you intended, it’s important to step back and reassess.

Take Breaks: Gambling should be a fun activity, not an obsession. Regular breaks can help maintain a healthy perspective and prevent it from becoming problematic.

The Broader Impact

The impact of this event extends beyond just one man’s life. It serves as a reminder of the possibilities that come with taking chances and the importance of doing so responsibly. The casino, on its part, gained positive publicity and likely inspired more visitors, eager to try their luck and experience the thrill of potential winnings.

In conclusion, while the man’s story of becoming an instant millionaire at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino is extraordinary, it underscores a larger narrative about opportunity and responsible risk-taking. By being informed, setting limits, and approaching gambling as a form of entertainment, individuals can enjoy the excitement without the pitfalls. Life’s a game, and sometimes, taking a chance can lead to incredible outcomes just like it did for this lucky winner in Wisconsin.

Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for its highly anticipated Spanish-language crime drama "Women in Blue" ("Las Azules"). This 10-part series, featuring an entirely Hispanic cast and crew, is headlined by Ariel Award nominee Bárbara Mori. The series will premiere globally with the first two episodes on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, followed by weekly episodes through September 25.

Created by International Emmy Award-winning showrunner and director Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi, "Women in Blue" is set in 1971 and inspired by true events. The series tells the story of four women who defy the ultraconservative norms of their time to join Mexico’s first female police force. Initially, they realize that their squad is merely a publicity stunt to distract the media from a brutal serial killer. However, as the body count rises, these women decide to take action.

The narrative centers on María (Mori), whose determination to catch the killer turns into an obsession. She is joined by Gabina (Amorita Rasgado), the daughter of a respected police officer; Ángeles (Ximena Sariñana), a skilled fingerprint analyst; and Valentina (Natalia Téllez), a young rebel. Together, they initiate a covert investigation, striving to accomplish what their male counterparts have failed to do—bring the serial killer to justice.

The series features a stellar cast including Mori, Sariñana, Téllez, Rasgado, Miguel Rodarte, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Christian Tappán, and Horacio García Rojas. "Women in Blue" is produced by Lemon Studios for Apple TV+, with executive producers Fernando Rovzar, Wendy Riss, Erica Sánchez Su, Sandra Solares, and Billy Rovzar.

"Women in Blue" promises to deliver a compelling story that not only tracks the pursuit of a serial killer but also highlights the social challenges and achievements of pioneering women in law enforcement during a pivotal time in Mexico's history.
