Kagen Schaefer Demonstrates his masterpiece at Plus gallery
Kagen Schaefer demonstrates the unique and exquisite properties of his recently completed commission, four years in the making. The object appears to be a wonderfully crafted desk, but with the right combination of drawer sequences it becomes a multi-leveled musical instrument and engaging puzzle box that is one of a kind. The desk was displayed at Plus Gallery for one evening before shipping off to Kagen's world-renowned client in NYC. Talent runs in the family, Kagen displayed the piece in conjunction with sister Robin Schaefer's exhibition of paintings "Unlearning the Differences."
