Beaver farts at Willington Wetlands, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust!

Hilarious clip captured on hidden camera at Willington Wetlands! Sound up, that is a little beaver trump you can hear!

But beavers are not here just to make us giggle... honest.

The beaver family live at Willington Wetlands nature reserve in Derbyshire and play a vital conservation role. By digging canal systems and creating dams, they create new homes for other animals such as otters and water voles.

Scroll down for 5 interesting facts about Beavers.

Beavers are known for their ability to build dams. They use branches, twigs, and mud to construct large dams across rivers and streams, which creates a pond that provides food, shelter, and protection for the beavers.

Beavers are herbivores and their diet consists mostly of woody vegetation such as willows, cottonwoods, and aspens. They also eat aquatic plants and grasses.

Beavers are nocturnal animals and spend most of the day inside their lodges, which are built inside the beaver pond. The lodges are made of branches, mud, and grasses and are used for protection and raising their young.

Beavers are social animals and live in family groups. The family group consists of the adult beavers, known as the breeding pair, and their young.

Beavers play an important role in shaping their ecosystem. They create ponds and wetlands that provide habitats for a variety of other animals and plants. They also help to control erosion and improve water quality by slowing the flow of water and trapping sediment.
